NOOSA TWILIGHT MARKETS SET TO LIGHT UP NOOSA MARINA
ON THIS SATURDAY 3rd OCTOBER (and the first Saturday of every month)

of the twilight market overlooking the sparkling Noosa River.

Feast on the Sunshine Coast’s finest Street Food, dance by the river as the Noosa Twilight Markets launch at the world-famous Noosa Marina, on Saturday 3rd October.

The sun begins to set over the sparkling waters of the Noosa River, Noosa Marina will come alive with the launch of the Noosa Twilight Markets on Saturday 3rd October.

Held on the first Saturday of every month from 4pm to 8pm, the new Twilight Markets will create an immersive evening experience combining quality artisan stalls, the crème de la crème of Sunshine Coast’s street food vendors and free live music, all within the spectacular waterfront setting of Noosa Marina.

And it’s an experience designed to engage all the senses.

As daylight fades, the aromas of freshly prepared street food will drift through the Marina. The sounds of live music will mingle with the chatter of market-goers, while strings of lights, colourful stalls and the reflections of the setting sun create a changing backdrop across the river.

Add the taste of something delicious, the discovery of a beautiful handmade treasure and the feel of a warm Noosa evening by the water — and the Noosa Twilight Markets become much more than a traditional market.

A FEAST FOR THE SENSES

The magic of a night market is as much about the atmosphere as it is about what you buy.

Visitors will be able to follow the irresistible aromas of street food cooking nearby, listen to live music as they wander between stalls and watch the colours of the river change as the sun slips below the horizon.

The evening will gradually transform from golden hour to twilight, with the Marina taking on a different character as the lights come on and the river reflects the glow of the evening.

It is a place to wander, taste, listen, discover and linger.

“The river is beautiful at any time of day, but there’s something very special about being here as the sun starts to go down,” said Sunshine Coast Music and Events Creative Director Lea Taylor.

“You have the smells of incredible food cooking, music playing, people laughing and chatting, the lights coming on and that beautiful river right beside you. It creates a wonderful Saturday night experience.”

DISCOVER UNIQUE TREASURES

Alongside the sensory experience, visitors can explore a carefully curated collection of local makers, artisans, designers and small businesses.

Expect original art, handmade jewellery, fashion, homewares, gifts, gourmet products and unique finds, with a strong focus on quality, creativity and craftsmanship.

Rather than mass-produced market merchandise, the emphasis is on distinctive products with personality and a story behind them.

Visitors can meet the makers, discover something unexpected and take home a piece of local creativity.

THE CRÈME DE LA CRÈME OF SUNSHINE COAST STREET FOOD

Food will be a major part of the evening, with a handpicked selection of Sunshine Coast Street food vendors serving up tempting flavours throughout the markets.

The aromas alone will be part of the experience – drawing visitors towards sizzling dishes, freshly prepared meals, sweet treats and gourmet offerings.

Whether it’s dinner, dessert or something to share while enjoying the music, visitors will have plenty of opportunities to taste their way around the markets.

SOUNDS OF THE RIVER

The soundtrack to the evening will be provided by free live music, creating an easy-going atmosphere as visitors shop, eat, meet friends and enjoy the riverfront setting.

The music, combined with the sounds of conversation, laughter, flowing water and the activity of the Marina, will create an atmosphere that changes naturally as the evening unfolds.

Visitors can dance, relax or simply find a spot beside the river and enjoy the show.

A DIFFERENT SIDE OF NOOSA

While Noosa is renowned for its beaches and Hastings Street, the Twilight Markets invite locals and visitors to discover Noosa Marina and the Noosa River as an evening destination.

The Marina is easily accessible by car, bus, bike, scooter or foot, while visitors can also arrive by Noosa River ferry from Hastings Street, making the journey part of the experience.
