Every year our team of Oncology nurses at SCUPH have a bake sale.

The staff bake and organise everything themselves.  We choose a different cancer charity every year to donate our proceeds to.

This year we want to make it bigger than normal and have what we are calling ONCtober fest… book stall, recycled clothing, Asian food, plants and we have the young daughter of our cancer care navigator who has made bangles to sell.  PLUS we will have our usual bake sale but bigger and other things.

This year our proceeds will go to Bloomhill Cancer Centre at Buderim who we send our cancer patients to for support and services.

The Silversmith Group of the Buderim Craft Cottage will show new and recent work at its Annual Exhibition:

Sunshine Beach State High School P&C is excited to announce our very first Car Boot Sale!

Happening on Saturday, October 25, this event is open to the entire community — including students! Whether you team up with friends (book a table or car spot between you) or go solo, it’s a great chance to make some extra cash and be part of a fun school fundraiser. Coffee, snacks and snags will be available for purchase.

Students can book a trestle table for just $15 (student ID required on the day), while adults can secure a car park space for $25.

Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid missing out!

Please note that this is a school event so the sale of vapes or other inappropriate items is prohibited and sellers found doing so will be removed from the premises.

Sunshine Beach State High School P&C Association is excited to launch its inaugural car boot sale, to be held at the school on Saturday October 25th, 8.30 am – 12.30 pm.

Members of the school community, its students, and the wider public are invited to book a car spot for $25.  Students can book an undercover trestle table for $15 – students who attend other schools are welcome to book.

Why not get your friends together and share the price!  This is a great opportunity to make some extra cash and have fun doing it.  Entry is free to buyers.

There will be music, a BBQ and snack stand, and coffee van.

The P&C will also be holding their second-hand uniform sale on the day – an ideal chance to grab some ‘new’ uniforms before the end of the year.

Step into an evening of elegance and fun under the stars at Music in the Moonlight!

After last year’s huge success we are bringing this fundraiser back for another fantastic night of fun.

Last year this event raised enough funds to offer instrumental music programmes and scholarships to our local kids.  All proceeds raised this year will go towards upgrading the school canteen to make sure all our little minds are well fed.

Drag out your best outfit, dust off your dancing shoes, book a babysitter and come join us for a whole lot of fun food and entertainment.

108th Beersheba Day – Woombye

Following the service, the Light Horse Park Museum will be open.  Share in tea, damper, ANZAC biscuits, and a classic sausage sizzle.

This is a family-friendly, all-ages event – a chance to gather, reflect, and pay respects to the service and sacrifice of the Light Horse.

This will be a great opportunity to hit the water, have some fun and raise money for local kids with disabilities.

Our Charity Surf Comp is on Saturday, 8th November at Kawana Beach.

Teams of 4 surfers can enter to compete for trophies and prizes.

The cost per team is $500, with every dollar going to the kids and families we help

We are having a gem show Saturday 8^th November 2025, 8 am – 3 pm. 

It’s our 40^th Anniversary extra special show for us. 

There will be a mega raffle along with kids’ activities. 

Lots of gemstones, rocks and amazing silver jewellery. 

Free parking across the road.

Largely indoor event so will go ahead rain, hail or shine. All volunteer run.
