Brody Riseborough, UBX Mooloolaba: 500km for the Black Dog Institute<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m back for another round of One Foot Forward after raising over $5,000 for the Black Dog Institute last year. This October a mate and I are aiming to cover 500km between us, raising money and awareness for mental health.<\/p>\n

I own UBX Mooloolaba, a boxing and strength gym that\u2019s about a lot more than training. It\u2019s a place where people build real connections, feel safe, and get to leave the day\u2019s stress on the floor. I\u2019ve seen what spaces like ours do for people, and I truly believe a lot of tough mental health stories could be avoided if more people had somewhere like it.<\/p>\n

The month wraps up with a big finale on Saturday 31 October. I\u2019ll be running 50km, the furthest I\u2019ve ever gone, in 10km loops starting and finishing at the gym. While I\u2019m out there grinding, we\u2019re throwing a community event with a coffee van, supplement stalls, a DJ, a BBQ breakfast and plenty more going on throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Come down and jump in for a 10km loop, we\u2019ll be heading off on the hour every hour, so run one or stick with me for as long as you can.
