This October a mate and I are aiming to cover 500km between us, raising money and awareness for mental health.

I own UBX Mooloolaba, a boxing and strength gym that’s about a lot more than training. It’s a place where people build real connections, feel safe, and get to leave the day’s stress on the floor. I’ve seen what spaces like ours do for people, and I truly believe a lot of tough mental health stories could be avoided if more people had somewhere like it.

The month wraps up with a big finale on Saturday 31 October. I’ll be running 50km, the furthest I’ve ever gone, in 10km loops starting and finishing at the gym. While I’m out there grinding, we’re throwing a community event with a coffee van, supplement stalls, a DJ, a BBQ breakfast and plenty more going on throughout the day.

Come down and jump in for a 10km loop, we’ll be heading off on the hour every hour, so run one or stick with me for as long as you can. Grab a coffee and a snag while you’re there, and help us raise as much as we can for the Black Dog Institute.

[4],"event_type_2":[
post-5870","ajde_events","type-ajde_events","status-publish","hentry","event_type-seafm","no-post-thumbnail
["GET
