Spiral Celebrates Creativity, Community and Inclusion
\nwith Art Exhibition in Nambour<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nambour, Queensland | September 2026<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Spiral,
\na trusted disability support provider that has been part of the Sunshine Coast
\ncommunity since 1981, is inviting the community to experience the creativity
\nand talent of local artists at its upcoming art exhibition, Celebrating the Artists of Spiral<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Running
\nfrom 7 to 26 September
\n2026<\/strong> at the Old
\nAmbulance Station, 80 Howard Street, Nambour<\/strong>, the exhibition
\nwill showcase the artistic works of Spiral participants, providing a platform
\nfor artists with disability to share their unique perspectives, stories and
\ncreative voices. <\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition reflects Spiral’s long-standing commitment to empowering people with
\ndisabilities through choice, self-determination, skill development and
\ncommunity participation.<\/span><\/p>\n

For more than four decades, Spiral has supported people with disabilities and their
\nfamilies across the Sunshine Coast. As an experienced NDIS provider, the
\norganisation works alongside participants to co-create personalised support
\nthat fosters independence, confidence and meaningful community connections.<\/span><\/p>\n

“At Spiral, we believe every person has a story to tell and talents to share,”
\na Spiral spokesperson said.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This exhibition celebrates the creativity of our participants while highlighting the
\nimportance of inclusive communities where everyone feels valued, connected and
\nempowered to pursue their goals.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a diverse collection of artworks created
\nthrough Spiral’s creative programs, which encourage self-expression, skill
\ndevelopment and social connection. The exhibition highlights the impact that
\naccessible creative opportunities can have on building confidence, fostering
\nbelonging and strengthening community participation.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the exhibition, visitors can enjoy a range of special activities
\nthroughout the month, including artists-in-residence,
\nschool holiday workshops and a special children’s author event featuring Chris
\nCollin<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Spiral’s mission is to listen and co-create services that empower self-determination and
\nchoice for people with disabilities through innovative skill-building programs,
\nstronger social connections and advocacy for communities where everyone can
\nthrive.<\/span><\/p>\n

The community is encouraged to visit the exhibition, meet the artists and celebrate
\nthe extraordinary creativity emerging from the Sunshine Coast’s disability
\ncommunity.
