Maleny’s annual River School Spring Fair happens on Saturday, 26 October from 10am to 2pm.

This creative, community event offers family-friendly activities, live entertainment and scrumptious food set in the beautiful River School rainforest.

You can peruse the plant stall, make a beaded necklace, get your face painted or play with circus toys. For those who like messy play, there will be a slime stall and a paint bomb splat activity.

Live music and entertainment will be provided throughout the day with students and other talented local performers featuring in the line-up.

Healthy lunch options will be available, along with sweet treats, homemade lemonade, popcorn and strawberry ice cream.

DFV space and this spurs her passionate support for RISE2.

Maleny Music Festival is coming soon on eighth
ninth and tenth of November. Maleny Music Festival is a camping and music weekend
in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This event is a small, family friendly
festival, with a relaxed, casual atmosphere.  It is jammed pack with six
stages of live music, workshops and entertainment over three days. Kids are
free, the musicians are talented, and the bar is open. A relaxing and vibrant
weekend away so come and join us at Maleny Music Festival. Held at the Maleny
Showground on the eighth ninth and tenth of November. Tickets available at

All items are created by members of the Caloundra Arts Centre Association (CACA). Each sale will

Our All Access Day will celebrate diversity and inclusivity while promoting awareness of accessibility to the beach for everyone.  At Dicky Beach we have beach matting, a beach wheelchair and a park which is fully accessible to people with disabilities.

Everyone is welcome!  The All Access Day event is for all age groups and is being run In conjunction with Sunshine Coast Regional Council and lots of organisations in the disability sector on the Sunshine Coast as well as our neighbouring Currimundi Special School.

We have all sorts of free fun activities planned:  beach games, face painting, Sorrell Disability Dance
group,  seated boche, Turtle Care, SLSQ Surf Crew (promoting surf safety with their popular dog “Sandy”) Kite flying, talks by special guests, a sausage sizzle and the (not to be missed) Dicky Beach has Got Talent show.

The mission of our Veterans MMA charity organisation is to provide a safe and inclusive space for Veterans and First Responders, creating an environment reminiscent of their time in the Armed Forces.  Our 24 Hour Grapple is our biggest annual event and is vital for covering our operational costs throughout the year.

Event: 24 Hour Grapple  

Location: Integrated MMA, Main Street, Bokarina  

Date: 11 am November 9th and 11 am November 10th  

Donations: $5 per 5-minute round; raffles and merchandise will also be available.

During the event, every 15 minutes for 24 hours, three athletes will grapple with participants in 5 minute rounds. 

We’ll have food vendors, drinks, raffles, and plenty of space for stretching, recovery, and socialising. You’re welcome to participate, watch, or stay as long as you like!

Participation Details:

All ages and skill levels are welcome!  If participating, please wear a tight shirt (like a rash guard) and comfortable shorts.  A mouthguard is preferred, but we can accommodate those without one—just let us know in advance. If you plan to complete multiple rounds, bringing extra shirts is advisable.

Take back your physical wellbeing and make strong friendships at YMCA Cancer Survivors! Join our free 12-week physical activity and support program for anyone living with, through and beyond cancer. Here at the Y, we provide a safe exercise program and environment for cancer survivors to gain and reclaim their health and well-being. Instructors work with participants to develop individualised physical fitness programs so they can continue to practice a healthy lifestyle. YMCA instructors are trained in the fields of cancer, post-rehab exercise, and supportive cancer care.

The Sunshine Coast Environment Council presents ‘Comedy for a Cause’. Featuring hilarious comedians from Sydney and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals.
