Santa Paws in the Park

Santa Paws is coming to Kawana Island and he’s bringing the community together for a paw-fect, fun filled day that’s all about families, dogs, and celebration. Santa Paws in the Park will be held on Sunday, July 27 from 10 am to 2 pm.

4Paws Animal Rescue is once again hosting this FREE community event in partnership with Sunshine Coast Council.  Expect activities for all ages and animal lovers. There will be a mix of pet friendly and artisan market stalls, sweet and savoury food options, dog training and agility demonstrations, face painting, competitions, raffles and of course, photos with Santa Paws himself.

“We’re excited to be hosting Santa Paws for the 3^rd year.  It really is a fun, feel good day celebrating our love for animals and spreading the word about responsible pet ownership.  We’re a 100% volunteer run rescue so all funds raised will go directly to support the ongoing care of our animals”, said Julie
Penlington, President, 4Paws Animal Rescue.

The event will feature popular competitions like Owner/Pet lookalike, Best Trick, Golden Oldie with plenty of prizes up for grabs.  Visitors can browse the stalls, enjoy the food and coffee and connect with fellow animal lovers in a relaxed, family friendly setting.

Well behaved dogs on lead are welcome
