Fiji Day on the Coast 2026

Join us for the inaugural Fiji Day on the Coast 2026, a free,
family-friendly community celebration marking 56 years of
Fiji’s independence.

Fiji Day commemorates 10 October 1970, when Fiji became an independent
nation. This special event brings the spirit of Fijian and Pacific culture,
community and connection to the Sunshine Coast.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy a vibrant day featuring live
entertainment, food vendors, market stalls and community celebrations.

The Official Opening Ceremony commences at 11:00 am. The
ceremony is free, however tickets are required due to limited auditorium
seating.

From midday, live entertainment continues featuring Andrea
Kirwin, Chris Cobb and TOKO Music Official.

General entry to Fiji Day on the Coast is free all day,
with a ticket required for the Official Opening Ceremony only.
